Why you need to be hydrated

It is very important to keep our bodies hydrated. Drinking plenty of water every day is an essential part of life. When trying to stay hydrated, try to stay away from those sugary drinks. Water will work just fine, it’s actually the best thing you can drink to stay hydrated. You can’t beat good old h2o, well unless its total hydration. It’s very important that your body stays hydrated since our bodies are made up of 90 percent water. So we need water to survive, without it we would just sadly die.

Water is important because it promotes cardiovascular health. Dehydration lowers the amount of blood circulating through your body, so your heart must work harder to pump the reduced amount of blood and get enough oxygen to your cells, which makes everyday activities like walking up stairs as well as exercise more difficult. So staying hydrated also helps you deal with everyday activities better. Exercise also becomes easier when you are well hydrated.

Water also helps regulate your body’s temperature, it helps keep it cool. Your body releases heat by expanding blood vessels close to the skin’s surface, resulting in more blood flow and more heat dissipated into the air. When you’re dehydrated, however, it takes a higher environmental temperature to trigger blood vessels to widen, so you stay hotter. So you want to make sure you stay hydrated to keep your body cool.

Water also helps your muscles and joints work better. When you’re well hydrated, the water inside and outside the cells of contracting muscles provides enough nutrients and removes waste efficiently so your body performs better. Water is also important for lubricating joints. So staying hydrated is important to keep your body well oiled and running smoothly.

Water also helps cleanse the body both outside and in. Your kidneys need water to filter waste from the blood and excrete it in urine. Keeping hydrated may also help prevent urinary tract infections and kidney stones. If you are severely dehydrated, your kidneys may stop working, causing toxins to build up in your body. Stay hydrated, you don’t want toxins to build up in your body.

Staying hydrated also helps you prevent bad breath. Dehydration causes your mouth to dry up, therefore leading to bad breath. So please, if not for yourself, do it for the rest of us. Drink some water. Don’t let that mouth get dry.

Here we see the importance of staying hydrated. Water is the key to life. Our organs need water to function properly. Every single organ in your body is affected by hydration. Water accounts for 90 percent of your body and is essential to every cell.  Staying hydrated also makes sure it keeps your memory sharp, your mood stable and your motivation intact. You can also think through a problem more easily. So if you ever see someone in a bad mood, just do them a favor and give them a bottle of water. They will thank you later. So please, drink your water, make sure you get plenty everyday. You need to stay healthy, drink your water. Stay hydrated all. God bless!
